Fraudulent Quiet Title Suit Court Hearing Monday October 23rd

Next Monday morning at 9am there is a court hearing on the motion to intervene in the fraudulent quiet title suit filed by Golden River LLC attempting to get a default judgement against the long dead Great Southwestern Land Company and by doing this gain an appearance of having title to a 60 acre parcel of 1/4 acre lots in Carson Estates Unit 3. This is nothing but a land grab on land that is currently owned by nobody. If this suit is successful, it would huge implications for the surrounding community and all of the other Great Southwestern Subdivisions in Carson and Tres Piedras Estates. Apart from the immediate impact on the surrounding neighbors who would see their quiet neighborhood turned into a vast real estate development, it would set a precedent that you don’t need to have any claim of title on a piece of land to file a quiet title suit on it and it would unleash a hoard of real estate grifters on our community claiming every single bit of abandoned property that the county currently has assessed to the original developer, Great Southwestern Land Company.

This suit, as the previous post states, is a repetition of the one filed by Ariana Solare in 2004 and Golden River LLC is nothing but a corporate alias for Ariana. The naked greed in it is as huge as the parcel of land involved. My property is above  it in Unit 2 and if I owned the 60 acres divided into 240 lots that runs parallel to the one being fraudulently claimed by Golden River, I would own at least 8 inhabited houses, several uninhabited ones, the whole Buddhist complex in Tres Orejas, and still have over 100 undeveloped lots.

The court hearing is at 9am October 23rd at Taos District Court. If anyone wants to attend, please do. One of the most outrageous statements in the court filings is one that came out last week in which Golden River’s attorney states “Carson Estates is not a community as alleged by the proposed intervenors. It is a 60 year old defunct subdivision with many of the property owners residing in other cities and states”.  Having community members show up would show that this statement is completely false, that Carson Estates has not just one community but several and most of us who make up the community live here full time.
